Budgets & Scenarios
Set a fiscal-year budget, compare budget vs. actual, and model deferrals.
CompliCore allows you to set compliance budgets and model deferral scenarios to see how delaying an inspection impacts your bottom line.
Setting an Annual Budget
To establish a baseline for your CapEx chart:
- Navigate to the CapEx page and click Set Budget (or Edit Budget).
- Enter your total annual compliance budget.
- This will draw a dashed reference line across your CapEx chart, allowing you to instantly visualize if your projected liabilities exceed your allotted funds.
Budget Reports
You can generate a board-ready PDF summarizing your portfolio's compliance health and financial projections.
- Click Budget Report in the top right of the CapEx screen.
- Make sure your browser allows pop-ups, as this generates a rich PDF document for you to print or email to stakeholders.
Deferral Scenarios (Pro Feature)
If you are tight on budget for a specific month, you can model what happens if you defer an inspection.
- Select one or more rows in the CapEx Ledger using the checkboxes.
- The Scenario Bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose a future month to defer the inspections to.
- CompliCore will redraw the chart with a dashed line showing your "Scenario Cost." You will likely see a massive spike in the red "Fine Exposure" area, visually demonstrating the financial risk of delaying the work.
