Get your compliance calendar live in three simple steps. This guide covers manual entry, but remember you can also bulk-import your entire portfolio at once.

Step 1: Add Your First Building#

Your portfolio starts empty. Let's add a property:

1. Navigate to the Portfolio tab in the sidebar.
2. Click the Add Building button in the top right.
3. Enter the building's name, address, and any internal property codes you use.
4. Click Save.

You now have a container to hold all compliance tracking for this location.

Step 2: Add a Compliance Asset#

A building is just a shell-its compliance health depends on the regulated equipment inside it.

1. Click on your newly created building to open its details page.
2. Under the Assets tab, click Add Asset.
3. Select an Asset Category (e.g., Elevator, Boiler, Sprinkler system).
4. Enter its serial number, location within the building (e.g., "North Lobby"), and the date of its last known inspection.

Step 3: Let the Engine Calculate Deadlines#

Once you save the asset, CompliCore's engine takes over. Based on the category and local jurisdiction rules, the system automatically calculates exactly when the next inspection is legally due. It plots this on your Compliance Calendar and begins a countdown.

When the deadline approaches the 60-day window, CompliCore will automatically alert you to dispatch a vendor.
